PASTOR’S CORNER August 16, 2011
Our Parish Festival was a great success thanks to the work of Mary Durkin and her committee, the Parish Pastoral Council, the many faceted Liturgy Committee, the Parish Staff and Fr. Chris. Our parish was thus well feed – physically, spiritually and socially through the great work of the many volunteers who make our parish such a beacon of hospitality, devotion, hope and a place of refuge. I am sure Our Blessed Lady was well pleased and has asked our Lord Jesus for a unique blessing to come upon our parish.
The great events of our Triduum are but an invitation to the many exciting upcoming events in our parish. Under the summer sun more wonderful events are being planned and hatched we just need you to support them. Thank you in advance. More information about these events are and will be found in the bulletin, Facebook and the parish web site.

LITTLE JOHNNY ASKED HIS GRANDMA HOW OLD SHE WAS.
GRANDMA ANSWERED, “39 AND HOLDING.” JOHNNY THOUGHT FOR A MOMENT, AND THEN SAID, “AND HOW OLD WOULD YOU BE IF YOU LET GO?”
Will you let go and celebrate yourself as a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish? The rewards are “out of this world”!!!
