Report on the January 24, 2011 March for Life Trip

The Our Lady of the Angels Respect Life group cooperated with the New Jersey Right to Life Cape May County chapter to charter a 54-passenger motor coach to the recent March for Life in Washington, D. C. Because of the very cold weather forecast, we lost some passengers the last weekend. We ended up with 43 passengers on the bus. We had a very large contingent of students and parents from Cape Christian Academy. As in the past Father Steve was also on the bus. Choir notes

The choir has begun rehearsals weekly on Wed. eve. at 7:30.  We have 12 to 14 dedicated “core” members now. The choir will continue at the 9:30 Mass except for the third Sunday of the month when we will sing at 11:00 Mass. We are especially preparing to expand the parish repertoire and prepare for the special events of Advent and Christmas.  We are seeking those who play other instruments, trumpet, additional strings, harps, bass, whatever to enhance the holiday liturgies.  This is to include young people who have adequate skill to accomany church music.  Musicians can call Jim Maher […]
