Read Matthew 2: 1- 12 as family and learn about the Magi who followed the star to find Jesus after his birth.

Go outside with your family tonight and do some stargazing. Pray about the beautiful world God has created for us.

Pray for help to follow Jesus’ example. Demonstrate good discipleship to family and friends.

Go star gazing to celebrate the Epiphany. Discuss how the wise men might have felt while they were traveling to meet Jesus.

Make your own art project in honor of St. Brigid who started the first convent in Ireland and founded a school of art known for its beautiful manuscripts.

The Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas)

Have a meal and prayer time by candlelight and discuss how each family member can give more of themselves to God.

Pray for all those who are sick and all our health care professionals and first responders.

February is dedicated to the Holy Family. Pick one day to spend together doing family activities all day such as games, group prayer, outdoor fun, movie night or whatever your family loves best!

Beginning Ash Wednesday, place suggested food item in a bag or box.  Continue doing this throughout the 40 Days.

Pray

Every couple of days you may Pray a part of the Stations of the Cross.  Reflect on this Holy Season and how Jesus suffered for all of us.

On the Weekend of Palm Sunday

Bring the food items with you to Mass.  Place at the altar.  All Food items will be donated to the Our Lady of the Angels Food Pantry.
